Well-being is not static for women, it is a cycle of differing needs to fulfill. When we know what they are and when they occur, then we can create well-being and deep and meaningful emotional and sexual relationships throughout the month!

An Optimized Woman a modern woman who creates fulfilling and supportive relationships at work, at home and in the bedroom with the help of her menstrual cycle!

A sense of well-being is caused by many different things for different women. However during our cycles we can experience similar wants and needs, and it is the fulfilling of these cyclic wants and needs which develops a baseline of continuous well-being throughout the month.

How do we do this? Easy! We become aware of what we need, which phase we need it in, and then give ourselves permission to take immediate action to meet that need.

Meeting our needs in each phase is the single biggest key to creating feelings of well-being. 'The Optimized Woman' book and e-course guides you through the types of phase needs women experience and how to discover your own cyclic needs. Once you know this, you can plan activities each month to generate more and more feelings of well-being!

Well-being also includes meeting our relationship needs and these change with our phases.

The menstrual cycle and relationships

For many of us the menstrual cycle can be the biggest negative or positive influence on our relationships. Regardless of what is happening in our situation how we view it and react to it will depend on which phase we are currently in.

What do we need in our relationship right now?
What do we want our partner to do more of, less of?
Are we happy with our partner?
Does he / she feel right for us?
Do we need a partner?
What type of partner?
Are we getting on okay with being a Mum or a wife?
Is our sex life good?
What type of sex do we feel like?
Do we feel like sex at all?!
Would we speed date?
Would we have a 'one-night stand'?
Do we feel like arguing, being right, or passive in our relationships?
Are we managing with work colleagues and our boss okay?
Who can't we tolerate, who is okay?
How do we feel about our finances and our partner?
Do we need people or need to be alone?

The answer to each of these questions may actually change in our four different phases! It is no wonder partners, family, friends and work colleagues get confused by us. My husband wants a label stuck to my forehead saying which phase I am in to give him a chance of getting things right!

Actually it is for this reason I wrote a chapter in 'The Optimized Woman' specifically for men! So when you are reading the book and you want to share the information with him, simply hand the book over open to the short chapter and ssay 'Read this!'
